About the Job:

Job Announcement: Medical Biller

Heart and Vascular Wellness Center is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our dedicated billing department. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for accuracy, a strong understanding of cardiology billing, and the ability to contribute to a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This is an on-site position. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit clean claims to payers and follow up on denials or unpaid accounts.
Review CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for accuracy.
Post payments and reconcile EOBs and ERAs.
Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding balances.
Assist with appeals and documentation support.
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial payer guidelines.
Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of billing experience in a specialty clinic preferred.
Knowledge of cardiac coding and EHR systems (eCW preferred).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
